What to record in casenotes, a structure for general recording, how to cross reference.

Your records should show what you were trying to do, what you saw or heard, what you thought or felt about this, what you planned to do and how this made a difference to the young person. If you are not sure what or how much to record, click here for a basic outline

We begin to forget things very quickly after an event. For this reason you should record calls, visits and other work as soon as possible, within a maximum of seven days.
