Youth Offending
There will inevitably be times when the work of the YOT will run alongside or overlap with work being undertaken by staff working elsewhere within Children's Services, as well as other parts of the Council. At all times the needs of the child should remain the priority, with professionals working with and not against each other to achieve this.
The following pages set out the procedures for YOT staff when working with young people, their families and victims of crime.
